Hawaii Five-0 actress Grace Park has suggested that being famous can have bizarre side-effects.
Park, who plays Kono on Hawaii Five-0, explained that she prefers to live a much more private existence than most actors.
"This has been a really interesting journey," she told Emmy magazine. "I'm really grateful [for Hawaii Five-0], but with that comes a lot of exposure."
Park went on to say: "There's an inordinate amount of attention put on actors. Some people want to make their lives public, but that doesn't mean everybody does. It kind of feels [as if] you landed in - well, not really Alice in Wonderland, because it's not that fun."
Park's breakthrough role was on the Canadian drama Edgemont, where she played a young woman struggling to come to grips with her sexuality. She would later go on to star in Battlestar Galactica and Jake 2.0
